does anyone here speak jive? :-]

The MOMO colored shift knobs are so pimp... they´re like machined stainless steel with lexan colored inserts...

I´d love one if money was no object, but I really don´t see the point in upgrading look if it doesn´t upgrade speed...

I can´t stand the stock knob in my LX.. doesn´t fit my hand well at all. I picked up a $20 aluminum/vinyl ball shifter at Advance Auto and couldn´t be happier. IMHO, paying more than $30 for shift knob is rediculous.
I carved a nice knob out of a peice of scrap poplar when I was 17. Once I had it sanded down smooth I rubbed in linseed oil and then used it in the car until my hands had smoothed it down even further.. then one day I took it out of the car and spent a weekend running out to the garage every hour to put a coat of polyurethane on it.. it looks and feels great now. (got it in my Legacy)
