Has anyone purchased an aftermarket shift knob? If so, would you be interested in parting with your stock knob for a couple of bucks? I ask because the little plastic piece on mine that holds onto the boot has broken off, causing the boot to fall away. Ugly gap of about an inch. I´d replace with one from a junkyard only I can´t find any in my area. Which seems stupid cos there´s plenty of wreckyards, only no Escorts, or at least they´re picked clean by the time I check. Anyone want to lose their original shifter? Email me privately with how much $ you want for yours.

Hey Zeemax, i just changed my stock shifter with a little one that glows red when i turn it on. it´s cool. i could let you buy mine for whatever you feel is reasonable. I have it sitting in my car doing nothing but making weight. hehe Let me know if ya got one or if you need one still.
