I'm also thinking of cutting the top of the escort bumper and grafting it to a tracer one. I'll install this one in a few days after it cures.

Looks pretty clean. I installed threaded rivets into the plastic bumper of my '96 to hold the license plate on, how are you going to hold your plate on?
No plate for now hahaha

Why do you need to cut the escort bumper? The tracer bumper will bolt right in to a 3rd gen.

I want the escort upper on the tracer lower. Kinda like the 03 zx2....

But the Tracer upper us exactly like the Escort one. The difference is in the fog light and radiator inputs on the bottom. I'm assuming your trying to put this on a 3rd gen.

The tracer upper is closer to the zx2 upper. It's not at all like the 3rd gen escort one. Yes I'm putting it on a 97 wagon.

I guess what I meant was it'll bolt onto the car without any modification necessary. The ZX2 front end is different because of the different headlight shape.

Oh ya definitely. I know the zx2 lines are different too along with headlights. I really want the big openings in the bumper for looks and cooling. I'm only considering 3rd gen stuff, not using anything zx2 on the body.
