So, I'm finally beginning my build thread. This thread will include all past, present, and future mods/work to my 98 sedan.

I have already done quite a bit of work to the car, and it will take some time to post all of the pics. (THERE is ALOT). So, please bare with me. To keep things interesting here are some teaser pics, mostly from my turbo project; and of course the Escort.

    Some details about the car:

It was bought new, been in the family ever since.
Rolled off the lot with only 4miles on the clock.
    Power everything
    Premium sound
    Cruise Control
    A/C
    Sport package
    5-speed
    Build date is 5/98

Before any mods it was totally stock here(aside form the pedals and shifter boot)

Here is the compressor mapped for the SPI. The turbo is a TD04-13G out of a 91 Talon. At 10psi, I should be making around 170 hp at the fly.

    The day I got it.

Since there were no turbo's in any of my junkyards, resorted to EBay... I was very displeased when I opened the turbine up. The housing had a few cracks in it and the oil seal was blown. After contacting the buyer and disputing the item I only paid $40 shipped.

This snap ring was a PITA!!

    Balance mark :D

Blown seal left a lot of cooked oil. :/

    All the left over junk.

    Grillin' a snail. :)

    My disgusting welds.

    READY FOR BOOST!!!

    improved intake.

    Winter steelies.

Fun in the snow :D I think the snow was around 18" on the streets that night :D

And that is it for now. There is plenty moar to come. I'll fill in the holes and add descriptions later.

    Enjoy :D

Hmm stock seats huh? I wouldn't know as mine are the leather seats and the rears are cloth but look different. Still they look better than mine.

    ^ Thanks :D

@ndlm8888 Yes I have played with the Moates, I have a Q/H. I've been having issues using Paul Booths program. So when I get the chance ill be buying a "Binary Editor" key.

TBH, I probably should have just built an M/S 2. More features and cheaper if you build it yourself.

Yea the quarter horse is what I plan to buy. Would a ms2 be easier to tune on?

I don't think so, as there would be no base tune.

This is great... Can't wait to start collecting parts for my build. Never thought about the reverse lights for foglights I'll have to look into that.

That same idea about the reverse lights for fogs crossed my mind a few times but at least you went a step farther than me and tried it.

What car is that intercooler from? Looking for an alternative to the tmic i have factory on my tercel swap.
