Pick up a copy of MaxPower or Redline from the UK. You CAN order the Cossie dual headlamp conversion. BUT, they´re not DOT approved so even if you do get them fitted you´ll have to remove them to pass your state inspection. But that´s only once a year right?

The scoops are for show. In fact in F&F the scoop wasn´t even a scoop. It was a black decal:p

Well you could always try ripping headlights off of an Integra? Or go with the Beemer type that Marcus has and just make a bezel that goes over the outside of them.

Actually now that I look at the Rally Cossy, its not a scoop. Its a GPS satelite relay. Its there because rally teams use GPS to measure courses, turns, weather, temp, and voice communication with their teams members.

Actually Blade, don´t mean to be picky, but that scoop on the roof isn´t for show. It´s a rally roof scoop to let air in to cool the driver and co-driver. Seen basically on all rally cars, and soon to be on my Escort, only in two mini single vents to each side. The headlights are as mentioned, not DOT approved, and you can pick them up from the Max Power. I have over 50 Cosworth sites bookmarked and many sell them much cheaper, along with a whole bunch of other parts too. I could get anything from the doors to the floor mats and badging. Basically any Cosworth part. I also have a guy I get my Cosworth parts from in England. My hood vents are coming (real cut in vents, no show), and the WRC wing (the second blue Escort) is on order for me too. I can answer almost any part or other Escort Cosworth question for anyone, so if you want that mad Euro deal, let me know. Don´t be fooled though...none of the engine stuff or internals fit. Totally differnet car.

Ok. All these links aren´t just for the headlights. They are for many Cosworth and other Euro car parts.

There you go people. There´s a whole bunch of Euro car (Escort included) parts links over the net. I have more, but they are in other languages and the parts are difficult to get. Some of these links are great, and some are rather tough to navigate around in and get parts. Actually getting the parts shipped here to the states is the toughest part of the whole process, and you´ll see only about one or two of those companies do that. So, I will get you my guys e-mail that does my British ordering if you want. He just gets them from the companies and then I pay him and he sends them here. Good deal.

Ok people. Here´s the scoop on the Cosworths. The 2nd gen follows closely acutally to two different British escorts. It follows close with the Mk5 and Mk6. The Cosworth first pictured in this forum is the Mk5 Escort Cosworth. I have a picture of a hot Mk6 and they kind of look similar to our 2nd gens. The problem though with getting parts is that most don´t straight up fit, and in fact I would be they´d be a bit to fit on there. But the other problem is that if you want those headlights, and want them to fit with not too much work, you would have to get the headlights...and then to fit well with them, get the grill, and then to match with those two, the hood, and then the bumper, and so on until you bought the entire car, tail lights and all. That would be the hottest Amerc escort ever, and thats what I wanted to do, but it is WAY TOO much money. I thought at least. I thought that the best way to do the headlight thing is go with the E36 BMW headlights. I work for a BMW dealership, so I can get them almost for nothing brand new, and thats what I was going to do. Then all you would have to do is either take the lights inside out and cut the into your own Tracer or Escort headlights, or paint a "cover" over the outside of the BMW stock lights to match the shape of the lights inside the casing and boom, you have a pretty nice looking headlight kit that is pretty close to matching and easier to install. Also, you have BMW headlights and not only are HID easy to get, but Xenon and Angel Eyes (some of my BMW Euro sites sell E36 BMW Angel Eye headlight kits) for you escort. Hot idea if you ask me. You´re all welcome for the links, and if you ever come across any others, please do contact me. Spread the word on the Cosworth!! Get these Escort owners out of their American interests and get them into Euro Escorts! Thanks to all!
