ok, so i got an oil change, and a radiator flush, and pretty much my whole car checked out, all my fuses are good, heck i even have all new tires,
yet the service engine light will not go off....
anybody else had this problem,
any advice?

Have you had the codes pulled yet to see what is causing the check engine light? If so and you have fixed the problem you can shut the light off by removing the ground wire from the battery for 5 or 10 minutes and then the light should be off.

All of the things you have done, while good for the car, are in no way related to the service engine light being on. You need to have the codes checked to determine why the light is on and then repair that problem.

just wanted to say thanks, i'm gonna go to autozone and see if they will check it out,

oh and i love my escort, it's a beast for such a small and light car,
anybody know where i could get a reasonably priced turbo for it?

There are no turbo kits for your car. You have to make or modify everything yourself.
