I would try to get an engine between 91-94, cause 95-96 uses odbII
Serial numbers for 92-95ish 1.9 motors
I´m looking to replace the 1.9 in my ex´s ´92 wagon. I understand that motors from ´92-´96 are the same and will work. I´d like to verify that a motor falls in that year range before I give the wrecking yard the cash. Where are the serial #´s and what should they be? Any info?

91-95 are all ODB1 ....just avoid the 96´s
and check to see if the new engine has an EGR or not...
