    That's mean some of us have alot of money in our Escorts like me mine is a show car.I have a really good alarm system besides they can steal more than the car like my stereo and other stuff.

    I've got the ultimate security system. I shaved the Ford and Escort emblems and replaced the rear one with 'Cavalier'.

    That was the point of joke. ;) I wouldn't actually do such a thing, tho my emblems are shaved. Confuses the heck out of young car thieves.

    how would you shave the emblems?No one will steal my car!!A I have a really good alarm system supposed to be one of the best and better be and B they would not be alive to enjoy what they stole I would literally hunt them down and kill them.I love my car and they would find that out at their funerals.

    It really doesn't make an actual difference. I just like a clean looking car - on the 3rd gens it's easy because you can just pull them off the deck lid, there's nothing to fill since they were just glued on. For the one in the grille, you need a security torx (the kind with the hole in the middle).

    Not sure about 2nd gens.

    oh yours is a 3rd gen?Mine is a 2nd gen a 96 LXGT as I call it it is half LX and half GT it has a 93 GT bodykit and seats it did 6 shows this summer it just started in July and got a 1st 2nd and 3rd place I did the body kit seats it has a good stereo system I have a Pioneer CD player door speakers and 5x7 rear speakers it has a Rockford Fosgate amp powering 1 10"JL Audio Sub in a banpass box I have a Python car alarm remote start with pager it will page me if my alarm goes off I just replaced my POS Crimestopper with it and got a teriffic deal,I also have 14" chrome Concept Neeper Wheels and a soprt exhaust,added a aftermarket pop up roof,graphics that were made special for the car,Escort printed mud flaps and I know I am forgetting something!!That is why I said they won't live if they touch my car!!

    i would just take out the inertia switch if i really needed to but it's not like anybody would WANT to steal a wagon
