Here's my new exhaust installed. I was also busy on the interior and got the underside of the dash painted black along with the center console.
Also installed an Mx3 arem rest, and also painted my gauge cluster. The whole interior will soon have a grey and black color skeem with a few shots of blue.

Today I took my dash apart again to see what I was getting into with the install of the 5" tach, and since my car didn't come with a tachometer do I hook it into the wire for the shift up light or is there something else I need to hook to? Any help would be appreciated. :!:

Really? I thought I've seen them like I have it on other cars. The mx3 I pulled it off of had it installed this way.

    UPDATE:

Had some time this week and was able to do some much needed maintenance.
I was able to get my new moog endlinks on F&B and was also able to install my new strut mounts, and some rear brake drum replacements and new shoes.
Next on the list is to find some escort gt swaybars and a front tiebar, along with a rear disc conversion.

I did them! Yeah they did turn out pretty good.
My Pony came with vinyl door cards, so it was pretty easy. I lightly sanded them with 600 grit sand paper, and then used Duplicolor Vinyl
& Fabric coating. The stuff is great, no flaking, or peeling.

Car is coming along well - reminds me of the "good old days" when I was gathering up parts and doing upgrades like a fiend.

I'd love to find a set of grey vinyl door cards for the silver car. I love the vinyl in the Pony and I hate the cloth ones. Honestly not a fan of them being painted black, but to each one's own.

Well I appreciate the input. I'm just trying to add a little something that'll
break up the blah of the escorts interior. Once the new MX3 seats I just bought go in, it'll finish the look I was going for.

It's a Pilot shift boot from Pepboys, it doesn't have alot of forskin normally, it just looks that way with the short shifter.

    Update:

Well today's been pretty busy. I picked up my new wheels I got for free.
All I had to do was replace them with my old steel wheels. The car they came off of was a role over and we recently got the title so I worked the deal with the boss.
This is what they looked like when I picked up today.
this is what they look like now after 3 coats of paint.

You should spend some time and get them powder coated. The car looks really good but you should have a body shop clean up that Front bumper. Nice progress on this car. Looks like a stock GT and the body is mint. Kinda jealous right now.

I would get them powder coated, just can't afford it right now.
As for the front bumper, no body shop will touch it around here and also can't afford it right now.
