I started this build over in the autobiography and figured it was in the wrong forum for people to be able to give me some feedback so I brought it over here.
This is my 95 Escort Pony. No power anything, not even a radio. Got the car 2.5 years ago for $300 and it's been a slow build because our two babies in 2 yrs. I've been collecting and gathering parts for both of my projects. This is the ponies story!

Pics of Stuff I have gotten for the build so far!

And here are some good pictures of the car:

I picked up a set of EGT sideskirts. (Will post pic)
Got a EGT BP 1.8 ltr motor for a swap in the future!

Been busy getting car body swapped over to a EGT.

And also got my new suspension installed. I have some sheet metal fixes I have to attend to and also need to pick up a set of MX3 seats and EGT gauge cluster and some odds and ends for the BP engine to get it ready to install.[/img]

Looking good! Mine started very similar. I had a GT that was side-swiped and found a great LX shell in the JY. The "big model" project had begun. Keep your eyes peeled for the GT sway bars and brakes; they make a huge difference and make it that much more GT. If I can any criticism, it has to do with something you probably haven't been able to do yet, but plan to. Wheels. Either change them or space them out for a better stance. Escorts on stock tires look like they could tip over standing still.

Well I'm already ahead of ya. Yes I got the GT fans but a set of spacers are on the herizon. Also am planning on flaring the front fenders a little and cutting arches in the rear to match the front arches. When I adjust the suspension it'll have a nice stance without worrying about rubbing the rear fenders.

I got them on Ebay for a $119.00. They are the same size and width as you factory discs, so there is no size up grade. I've drivin the car three times since installing and I definately notice a difference. :D

 Today I set an appointment with the local speedshop to get a new custom 2.5" stainless steel exhaust made and installed with the new Bosal muffler for Wednesday. I was quoted at $50.00.
Today I also drilled out the holes for my euro spec side markers and test fitted them, I'll be wiring them up this weekend, along with my new GT lookalike foglights.
As for the GT BP motor, I haven't done anything, except buy a new engine mount at harbor freight for $50.00. Nothing stopping me now to do this swap! :mwha:

There is no way that guy is going to do your whole exhaust for $50. The stainless pipe alone is going to be more than $50.

Are you sure you're not missing a 0 on that price? 50 sounds like all you're geting is your muffler welded on.

We have some left over stainless lying around at the shop and the whole job will be $50 because it's a buddy from work, who had to open up his schedule to fit me in at the shop!

2.5" stainless for free , $50 for the welding, New cat back exhaust "Priceless".

It's good to have connections.

Looks great so far. How does the lotek struts and coilovers ride thinking about getting some
I'm still in the air about them. Haven't done any long rides on them yet, but locally they seem to be a pretty solid combination. I don't know how they would react to power steering but without power steering they feel as good as my GT's suspension. ( my Gt has KYB adjustables and N-1 coilovers)
