I want to have a big meeting and I mean big meeting so big we get thrown outa the state. j/k. I want to know your comments on this as to where we should do it. I think AZ is nice and central! this summer would be really bad for me... IE no way *L* wedding etc. fall or next summer would be best. I´m more than willing to do planning and calls etc. if you guys are interested I´ll find a venue for us.

You mentioned a meet and were wondering where to have it . May I make this suggestion and ask the question at the same time . " where is the bulk of the F E O A membership located ? " Answer this question and you should have some idea as to where your most central location is . This is the spot where most of our members can get to without a huge amount of trouble . I would love to go to Costly Obsessions but it is not practical for me to consider with my other commitments this year , But a meet in say Akron or some other Ohio location might be doable .Mostly what I`m saying is find a central location and work it from there . By the way how is the membership distributed ? I`m from Western Pa. and I don`t recall seeing anyone else from these parts who still lives here . I`d like to actually meet some of the other members in my area . Well this has been a long two cents worth on an Escort Meet , I`m for it . :-D

I´d be very hard pressed to go to anything but a western one this year. and damn sure nothing before fall. at least not that I could devote the time to doing it right.

So I can start a poll about this. not sure if we can find out what state people are from. I´ll see what I can come up with. NV might make a good western meet area. lots of autocrossing and warm temps hehe.

I think I could figure out how to rent the autocross "truck" etc locally. they are building a dedicated track. if we did it next summer we could look into renting it ourselves.

Since every one is gonna be doing some driving one way or another to get to the place, it might as well be some where we can all enjoy after and before the mee. Seems like a waste of gass to just meet and not party... Sooo i propose that we meet somewhere with clean beaches good music and warm weather... Some where where hooked up cars are a part of the culture and tenaged naked girls roam free... Some where like, I dunno... Miami... ;-)

I have a couple ideas as far as the east coast is concerned. First off, it definatley should not be held in PA. Pennsylvania is probably the most boring state on the entire east coast (with the exceptaion of Delaware "Hi, were in Delaware..."-Wayne, Wayne´s World). That said, I can think of two location that might do. Cedar Point, Ohio would be great. The amusement park there is one of the best anywhere and its pretty close to Canada. Another good place would be Watkins Glen, NY. Who know maybe we could even rent the track. I think late summer; early fall would be a good time to hold it. That way its still warm out and people would have a good heads up. Miami would be great, except it would be a very loong drive for anyone.

I think if we are all gonna get together we should just meet at a track, we could rent it out, that way everyone has room and we all know that it would be awesome to run the cars on a track at a meet. Hell if we did that and we all sent 1 or more emails to all the sport compact magizines and to the ford magizines, one of them would definitly show and give us some props.
