If u gottem, i wanna see them, and to what specs do they follow (whos rules)
I would also like to know this, please.
Neuman is the only caged 2nd gen that I know of .. I belive it's built to Neuman's rules, but it might spec ok for minor racing events.
I am looking for one as well. The rules for oval dirt here in NY are 4 points, two behind and two in front of the driver. I am also looking at US rally racing rules and they are about the same. More points are better, but 4 is the minimum.
Take 4 matchsticks and build a square. Now glue 4 one stick on each corner.
Build another square on top. Now push down and sideways on any one corner.
Now pick up the pieces, throw them in the trash and go check out a book on Race Car engineering at the library.
I had a 4 point with door bars in my old 2nd gen sedan with 5 point harness points for the front seats. functional rear seats and doors. passed the inspection for local rally. honestly that was back when I had no idea how to weld, and It held up great. even got used....
I may put some sort of half bar setup in my new lx hatch...trying to figure out a way to use harneses without adding one but not seeing many options
