BP-T or not it's fugly
^^ agreed lol
and no babyboy, ive seen tonnes of completely hilarious ricers that are just so ridiculously stupid looking and still built nicely under the hood.
Spotted a Suzuki Areo LOADED guys im talked LOADED every body panel and even windows with DECALS everything from monster energy to Tokiko to Tein to kenwood and OMFG. and a set of small rims on stock ride height with a HUGE alluminum wing..i never brought my camera but the guy looked at me and i shook my head in disgust.
YEs a laser, Had power to back it up. Car was show quality, but also power and handling to back it. HE was a member on the Laser forums. HE did a lot to this car, When there was still nothing to be had. THis is also almost 10 years old. Was actually cool to chat with on forums. and helped to get alot fo laser stuff going over there, (which can fit bodies here just to expensive to get. Beyond rice, cause its a completed car. Was a 3 seater also, single seat in rear, full interior airbrushed. SOme other old school Escortracing.com member should remember.
I think the ricer thing is getting played out. it seams
^^ serisouly man? lol its gots loads and loads of work and custom stuff done to it, that doesnt mean its not rice.... that laser is as close to being rice as it gets imo.
like that 1.9 2nd gen with the foreskin dash haha clearly had tens of thousands of dollars in it and hundreds of hours of work, but still.... ugly as [email protected]
I can't agree more. Most of the people's cars posted in this thread probably had no intention of trying to make their car perform better in the first place.
Having poor taste is a whole lot different than slapping a bunch of useless crap on your car thinking it helps performance.
Being a ricer is your attitude, not what you drive. I still stand by what I posted earlier in this thread that a lot of you are ricers and don't even realize it.
Actually rice stands for Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancements, so i think it has more to do with the mods on the car than it does the drivers attitude..
Theres a 4th gen honda civic around here i have seen with strips of sheet metal which looked to be pop riveted on as a spoiler and sideskirts along with front and rear lip kit. It was a major fail to say the least. I wish i could find the car out parked somewhere again when i have my camera.
i agree, its someones attitude, and lately theres the same kinda attitude around here id normally see around the honda guys at my old high school.
oh really peewee?!?!?! WANNA RACE OVER IT!?!?!?
I see it in the way guys/kids on this site think taking a crap before driving means 2-3 more HP and 1-2 more MPG. I know there's not much available for these cars as far as bolt-ons, but the way these people worship the cone filter and shiny tube going to it is sick.
Nice finds! God awful, but great examples of destroying a vehicle.
that exploder is bitchin yo :lmao:
I get frustrated from a financial standpoint with some of the similar vehicles as those around here. Most drive like slow morons because most probably don't have insurance. If you didn't know, I am a father for 2 and because my wife and I are a responsible, tax paying citizens, we had to pay about twice as the "less-fortunate" for our day care services. These LFs would be rolling on dubs with $1000 worth of crap hanging off the car and who knows what they have into the stereo system. It was a crime how loud some ran the music with toddlers in the car. My biggest thing about that side of "Rice" is a general practice of poor decision making. It'd be fine it affected no one else, but every action does.
I see that played out around me as well. Cars are decked out with all kinds of waste-of-money things and they work at McDs and barely speak enough English to get me a number 2. One weeks paycheck spent in the "chrome stick-ons" section at Walmart.
That astro better have a 454 in it...
I need to get a picture on the E-150 around here. It's sliver with red accents, has a hood scoop, fender scoops, and for some reason traction bars. It seems like every other month they add something new to it.
