you requested a reaction to your car so here goes . in my opinion and only my opinion the car is over all nice to look at . I don`t care for the tall rims and skinny tires ............ But.................if you do thats cool with me . I don`t like a high wing like yours , it just doesn`t look right to my eye ....................But................. if you do thats cool too . you catching my drift here , what I don`t like you may, what I like you may not . my preferances run toward the subtle look rather than the showy . even a car as mild as yours is may prove to be a bit much for my tastes . Over all however .............I like it ! surprised I`m not its tasteful and not cartoonish and thats what I like .

Rest looks great. Even though the wheels are pretty ricey, I think they were an excellent choice. I´ve got a soft spot for the rims... how much did they run you?
The shaving job looks nice, and I´m diggin the stage 2 weight reduction. Just dont get carried away with the flashy look... remember it´s only a ford escort (not bashing escorts, but in all honesty they´re almost embarassing to own, and my yuppie friends make fun of me for owning 2) :-[

First, I want to say that if your mods make you happy, then take pride in them. Since you asked for opinions, I´ll share mine. I like the rims and the stance of the car. I´m not a fan of colored window tint, nor a fan of aluminum spoilers. Without those, I think it looks great.

Exactly how is that rice? The only thing that anyone would consider rice is the wing. I think the car looks absolutely awesome.

After reading the other replies, I had to go back for another look - didn´t notice the rear wing - thought it was something ´industrial´ in the background!! (what a fool I am). I must agree with some others, don´t like the wing at all and don´t think it does anything for the overall ´look´ of what is otherwise a super-looking Escort.

First off thank you for not choosing to hook up another honda. Your car looks good and like everybody else we all have different taste. Personally I would of gone differently with the tint and as for the wing.....personally i just don´t like them.
And as for the comment Siragan made about the Escorts. As much as I hate to admit it, he´s right. But I know for a fact when I go out on friday nights and saturdays I get a lot more people complimenting me for being different. Especially when they look under the hood, but once again that´s just my 2 cents.

Well I just don´t see the point in dumping a lot of money into anything that doesn´t have the potential. I mean, escorts are fun to drive, they´re cheap, you can get tons of parts for them at the boneyard, and nobody wants to vandalize an escort because it´s very ordinary.
I´m a poor college student, and I know I can´t afford some of the nice cars that the yuppie bastard have, like their supras and WRX´s and such, but I can´t say that I try to hang with them or anything. I just don´t want to be seen as a wannabe or anything when I know that my escort doesn´t hold the potential that a higher end car does. I mean, comeon guys... it´s a ford...
Maybe when I´m older and have a decent job I´ll get a 3rd gen RX-7 or something, but in my eyes, the escort is and will always be just a general purpose meat-hauler to get your groceries and cart your friends to parties.
IMO I´d rather get something higher end and then work from there rather than skimp the initial investment and use the extra to upgrade it. My 2 cents.

plain and simple a escort isnt a race car you can millions well maybe not millions but you can do things to make them look really nice and its been dont people on this site and others have the nicest escorts i have ever seen but other then that you cant do much with the power without putting in way more money then what they are worth.unless you want to but thats my opinion

YES THE SPOILER IS A LITTLE BIG BUT I HAVE ABSOLUTEY NO WEIGHT IN THE REAR END OF MY CAR AND THE TINT I PUT ON THERE BECAUSE NO ONE HAS COLERD TINT AND WHO N THE FUCK SAID THAT ESCORTS ARE NOT RACE CARS WHAT IS A RALLY CAR? It kinda sounds like you´re yelling when you use all caps like that.. it gets the tensions higher than they need to be.
I agree, at least ford built real racecars out of the Escort.. Honda built the Civic and everybody and his brother has tried to turn them into racecars... some have, most haven´t.
