    Anyone know if a metal 3g tank will fit on a 2g? Also, does anyone know if the returnless 91 is the same as say a 96? The 91 has two lines, but idk if one is purge or what.

    My tank seems to have shrunken... Couldn't pinpoint the leak until today. Now it actively drips when on flat ground );
    It was oddly stinky when I filled it one day, but wasn't dripping.

    Parked it nose down on 1/8 tank and it left a puddle?
    Today it's obvious, it wasn't at first. I thought the leak was somewhere above the tank.

    But now I have some nice "high water" marks and I caught it wet up high today.

    I see metal 1st and 3rd gen tanks all over, but not a single 2g tank. I would rather weld it with a soldering iron than deal with dropping a junkyard tank....

    weld with soldering iron seems to indicate tank is not metal... i had it down once for some reason, i think to change the brake lines, but i forget...

    if it is not metal why not get a proper adhesive. there has to be a jbweld for it...

    If you do a search on ebay for that parts number, F8CZ-9002-GA, you should find a tank for about $135. I ordered one of them myself. I think the seller is in the Chicago area, and as of 3 or 4 years ago, they had almost a dozen of them on their shelf.

    I got mine at Vintage Parts in Beaver Dam WI. $135 shipped to my door in 2019. I almost crapped myself, I thought these were gone forever.
