Do I have to remove any pulleys to do this or should it just slide off?

I haven't been able to remove it so far and I was just curious.

Thanks

you should just remove the 4 10mm bolts and it should just slide right off, if not use a cheap gear puller from harbor freight or something, 12 bucks at harbor freight it'll pull that off if it's that stuck.

best of luck!

Thanks...but are you saying that I must take the pulley off to remove the cover?

If so, I'll just do it!

Appreciated!

I just took my timing belt off a few weeks ago and I had the engine out (doing some major work and trans and clutch so took it all out for easier access) and to remove that bottom timing belt cover you gotta take the pulley off because there's a bolt behind it, a 10mm, you might be able to get it out with a ratchet wrench if you wanna try but I doubt it's gonna clear the pulley on the way out man. it might, I just zipped the pulley off, like I said it's just 4 10mm bolts that are about 10 ft lbs of torque or less and then the crank pulley should just slide off, if not tap it lightly with a rubber mallet side to side.

that's my 2 cents worth best of luck!!!
