My brother in all of his strangeness gave me a bulldog remote starter for my car. Its model rs82 and since this is the security and question forum I thought I would going about asking how to install this unit, I have the wiring diagram from there website (shows color of wires but not what to connect them too). It requires no relays. I know how to bypass the clutch switch. I know to use the parking brake to trick it. but what else do I have to do???

I put a bull dog remote starter, don't remember the model, in my 97 auto trans escort. I only hooked up the remote starter wires and not the door unlock wires because I still use the factory remote.
I started by taking out the seat, then got some good light under the drivers side dash. You got cut the black casing around the bundle of wires the comes from the ignition. There is also the brake switch wire and the parking light wire you should hook up. Word of warning, the chart was wrong for the parking light wire on 3rd gens. I don't know if it is also wrong for a 93 escort.
The hardest part is cutting the insulation off and connecting the wire, I have done two installs, both in the cold, so the wires were stiff and hard to work with. If your alternator fails, and you didn't hook up the tack wire, it will keep trying to start even if it already running. Not good.
Let me know if you need more info. :?
