Remember, a week or two ago i posted about my 96 LX, engine/shake/studdering problem?, well it was fine till i was coming home to work, and it started to studder acting like it was gonna stall and had a loss of all power, i did notice at a stop light behind a car , the lights dimmed when the car was just about to stall, then came back on when the engine stoped studdering for a while, could it be a battery problem with my car?, alternator something like that?

Well first differentiate whether you have a charging system problem. If you find nothing check the recal list. The TFI is the thin film ignition module that was recalled due to over heating because of it´s position too close to the motor. They are not too cheap. One of mine was like 120 from ford but shoping around I found that one for like 65 and the cheaper one was like 45-50 bucks.I normally Buy stuff like that frim the dealer but they have not gotten a court order yet so I think they are trying to get rid of the old ones before they´re deemed unworthy. So I bought an after market one in hopes that it won´t have the same flawed design.the stumbling sounds like the same thing mine did before it died.
