93 LX

I have an emissions test coming up soon.... the old escort sprung a few leaks over winter

6 seperate leaks to be exact. there was ZERO pressure at the tail pipe, haha

1- exhaust manifold gasket
2- flange @ flex pipe
3- flex pipe
4- pipe between flex and resonator
5- pipe beside R.R. strut
6- Muffler inlet

So i basically replaced everything, but left a small section of the old pipe.

And threw in a new Bosch o2 sensor at the same time. (original 91' 20 yr old sensor was in it)

hopefully she passes, wish me luck

wow that's just a few leaks, I bought a 92 EGT last year and same thing, it had NO exhaust leaving the rear of the tail pipe, most of the pipe just fell apart when I tried to remove it!!! the flex pipe looked like a birds nest it was so bad lol, I was glad to get that all replaced with dodge neon 2 1/4 pipe!

you'll pass if you put a new cat in and got it mostly non leaky, but good luck!
