There are two fuel pump recalls for the 91 gt, and when i talked to a mechanic today and told him the problem that my car has he said that it sounded like a fuel pump. Well I took my car into ford about 3 years ago to have it checked out and they said that everything is fine. Is it worth having it towed over and telling them to check the fuel pump for the recall again?

Just go ahead and buy a new fuel pump altogether and then you won´t have to worry about it.

girl who owned my 91GT before I had it had a problem wid da fuel pump and she got it replaced. I dunno how, but I think she bought a new one altogether. It was a garden variety, which sucks, but new is usually better than old, I guess.

Well I think I will Ford them and have them run my vin to see if it has ever been replaced and 80 bucks is a lot to flush down the toilet when Ford can do if for free.
