am i correct in assuming these things are bluedy expensive (going to a custom shop)? i went to this one place and the only one they could order in was $200 CAN !!!!! insane amount for a piece of pre-formed plastic methinks...anone know a place where i could get one cheaper? i think they look real snazzy

Unfortunately your in the world of exterior looks, and they aren´t cheap. Do your realize Rice-Boy-Civic-with-a-Wing probably paid upwards to $400 for his aluminum wing that only helps keep the back end of his car planted as he dodges through traffic at 100mph, and is nothing more then looks at anything under 75mph.

Bodykits....there´s another story. My friend only got the bodykit for his civic because a motorcycle hit him and he used the accident payoff for a full bodykit (and we managed to get the highest estimate from anywhere in Northern AZ)....sad, but you have to have cash to look nice.

maybe i´ll starch a strip of cardboard, paint it up real nice, and find some green electrical tape that matches my paint job to attach it with!

Its better to waste you money on a really nice wing that only helps those who need to drive slower, then to get something cheap and try to polish it up.

Actually my friend has a huge wing on his civic...It honestly does help when we are cruising the hwy´s. Although this past weekend he learned...its bad to be behind a tractor-trailer combo with a huge wing and no hood. The back end was planted solid, but the front kept wanting to come off the ground with no hood.

i have a solar wing on my rear window if that is what you mean, it was only $70 from ventvisor, i painted it to match, looks alright but i think it takes air off of my spoiler though but it keeps the sun out of the back and gives the car a different look, check out my car pic on the old site and see if that is the one you mean

Those are cool, but I think he´s talking about the mid window spoiler like the Cosworth and the X4ti has. When you see them...they are pretty cool and definately unique.

actually, glue head´s is what i was looking for, maybe i just asked the wrong questions at the place i went to

of course, something like the cosworth´s is what i´d luv, but i knew i´d never get one of those in the first place. so i guess what i´m actually looking for is a solar wing then? just a small wing that´s just under a foot long kinda deal. maybe the $200 one had a brake light with it and included installation...i shall have to go check again

Whats the "old site"? i´d love to see the soalr wing...cause I went on the Ventvisor site, and they don´t seem to make ´em. u sure they´re made by ventvisor?

Um, that´s because I don´t. I wish, but I don´t. That wasn´t my car. It was just a car I found to use as an example of what I am selling. That car was the same color as my old one, but that is about all that is the same. If anyone is interested it is still available. hey gluehead here, i think it will fit the escorts with the trunk since the width of the back window should be the same. you guys are saying that thay don´t make it anymore? i´ve had it on for a long time now so i really don´t know about that. i have a pick on the new car showcase but i don´t know if the back window is shown, i have to put up more picks
