    Hey all!

Anyone know the part number of the two big bolts that hold on the rear rotors on a 3rd gen? I boogered one up recently and want to replace it. Thanks!

You could probably just put the wheel back on without them. I have drums and I have left my bolts off of them and have had no issues without them.

Most auto parts stores should have them in a little package.

If you mean the wheel studs, you can buy a replacement hub, with bearing and new studs. Also, most studs are pretty standard items, if you can get one off intact to use as a guide.

I think they are referring to the countersunk phillips flat head screws that hold the drum on. I would suspect that they are M6-1.0 - 10mm length bolts.

image.jpg Yes they are the countersunk Phillips bolts, but not that long. I'll put a pic up from when I just did my rear brakes. Thanks to all for their replies so far...

I tend to reuse those countersunk bolts, if they arent too mushed up from being loosened with my impact tool. Otherwise I throw them out. The wheel clamps the brake drum or rotor in place anyway.

I'm not sure if they can be found at a place like ACE or not. I know they are a pain to remove at junkyards without a good screw driver, or an impact driver.

    ^ 91-96 Escort GT's, LX-E's and Tracer LTS's. ZX2 S/R's also have them as well as some 3rd gens.

Throw those bolts away since they are not needed. I toss them anytime I have to remove them since they serve no purpose except for the assembly line at the plant before the wheels/tires get put on.

I've seen 4 sets on 97 Tracers lately ( I got one for my ZX2).
