    Hello all,
    Quick question: I need to replace my rear bumper cover it has a big chuck missing & several big cracks, looks like sh*t. I am having a hard time finding one for it. I would like to know if any of the other years are compatible with my car? Also will a bumper for a 2 door fit on a 4 door?
    I know some one has probable posted the answers to these question, I just can't find them on here. Any help is extremely appreciated! TIA

    91-96 are the same car. parts interchange body wise. I'm not sure where to look for one besides a junk yard at this point. Also post in the wanted to buy area of the site, it might get more attention there.

    I know the wagon bumper is different but I think all the rest are compatible.

    I can attest the wagon bumpers are different from the hatchbacks. I dont know about the sedan bumpers, versus those for the hatchbacks. And yes, from 91-96, they are all the same. The factory bumpers were black in 91, 92, After that I think the originals were painted to match the color of the car.
    I have gotten my hatchback bumpers from ebay. Not cheap but bearable.

    What about the similar years Protege cars? Since the Escorts were based on them, maybe those bumpers will fit.

    I got a couple pix of the 1992 Protege bumper. I really like the mud flaps on the Mazda compared to the Escort.
