Hey guys, long time no talk. I got a question regarding my new intake. A little background information; I own a 1993 cayman wagon with 152,000 miles on the powertrain. THING RUNS GREAT! I got it at 133,000 almost a year ago, and it had the original plugs and wires, and *gasp* air filter. The only thing that has died under the hood was a battery.

OK, well, on to the question. Im not really looking to build a racer, but I do take the best care possible for my car and I do enjoy the occasional tire squeal and pealout from work. I recently bought a conical air intake off of ebay for my car and slapped her on. WOW! Results are extraordinary, power is greatly improved and so is acceleration. I never unplugged the battery´s negative terminal for 10 minutes to reset the computer, and the performance has been great. Am I missing out on something here, should I even reset the computer? Am I causing my car harm, or should I not mess with success. Thanks guys!
