1997 ford escort 1.9 lt 5 speed..
I keep getting a misfire in 2 cylinders but its pretty random and if I shut it off for maybe 30 seconds it starts up and runs fine. I can never catch it consistently enough to scan it while its happening maybe once ever couple days. But when I scanned it this mourning I got 2 misfire codes P0302,P0304 for 2 and 4 cylinder. Theres also a evap purge code P1443 but I dont know if thats related. Its got new plugs and wires and it has a single ignition module for all 4 cylinders so I was thinking it might be the ignition module..what do you think ?
