Does anyone know where I can get a ram air scoop. Not the whole hood, just the air scoop insert Like the one at Spyder Auto.

This is the whole thing-hood and scope, I just want the scoop. Can anyone help me.

I´m not sure if this is what you´re looking for but go to:

After you click "english" or "french", click on hoods/traps. Scroll down and maybe its kind of what you´re looking for. There´s quite a selection to choose from. I´m not sure how one of those would be installed though. If you happen to know or find out how, let me know.

Thats is what I am looking for but I am looking for a better price. $125.00 cdn is a lot of money to spend on a little piece of fiberglass. Thanks anyways.

Spydar auto also sells just the scoop, and not the whole hood. I was just at there web site. If you go to their home page then click on hood scoops, you get a blank page. But before they updated to this current site, under the link hood scoops, I know they would sell you just the scoop. Drop them an e-mail. I know they just recently updated their site, maybe they havn´t got that far yet.

Hrmm... 70 bucks isn´t too bad for a scoop, but how would one go about putting it on? Cut my hood and bolt it? Sounds like a pain in the arse...

That´d work.... untill I hit about 60 on the freeway and the wind catches it and rips it off my car....lol. I really do want a functional scoop on my ´scort, but I don´t know where to start...grrrr.

You can order a universal hood scoop from JC Whitney. They have a web site and have really good prices.
