Hey everyone, just got my Grand Prix back on the road (and damn is it fast compared to my escort), but I am looking into selling it (the grand prix), and I would like to do so saftied. What are the sorta things I should look for to make sure it's gonna pass - my brakes were seized, but after about 15 mins of slamming on my breaks they have loosened back up, and other than that, I think it's in good repair. I know the tires are fine too, but I don't know what else to look at - I do a lot of the work myself, so the more I can get done before she goes into the shop, the better. Oh, and if anyone is looking into a winter car, this one's great, just a little over 150000km (under 95000 miles), new alternator, custom made cold air intake (have stock one as well in the trunk), new water pump, I have an extra set of subs and a box if you want them, etc.... looking around $2000 Canadian. Will deliver too, for most areas, need a vacation (which is basically why I am selling this, as well as for paying off student loans).

Mainly you want to check all your lights, all the attachments to the steering knuckle, along with the bearings, and then check the exhaust for obvious leaks.

Other than that, it should pass with flying colors.

You live in Ontario, and I had to have my car safetied when my dad transferred ownership to me. Even though the cert is only good for 30 days I still keep it in my car for some reason

Here's the back of the inspection sheet where they explain what they look for.

Save it to your comp and enlarge for easier reading
