my 95 lx has a cracked gasket between the radiator hose and the engine block under the distributer. my question is, what is the name of that part? also, do 2nd gens have camber adjustments on the wheels?

Are you talking about the thermostat housing gasket? No dizzys on a second gen escort. As for the camber adjustment yes there is a little to be had.

not sure if it is the thermostat. the hose connects to the top driver sid of the radiator, and then a silver part that goes to the engine block. i beleive thats where the coolant exits the engine?

ive had my tires profesionaly aligned, and there is still a very tiny pull to the right and, as consequence, i have to hold my steering wheel crooked to drive straight.

Yep, that's the thermostat housing. The gasket is no more than $2.

If you had an alignment and it still pulls then I would take it back because they obliviously didn't do it correctly. One of your front tires could also be messed up causing the car to pull to one side.

i had that problem with my steering once. what i did was straighten my wheels, took off the outter tie rods from the steering knuckles, straighten the steering wheel, adjusted my tie rods by screwin them in or out till they fit back into the knuckles and put them back on. it's easy. i also had some free play with my steering rack so i tightend the rack mounts so it's now straight and tight.
