I just took off some power windows from a wrecked 4-door LX i found and i put them on my 91 egt. The only thing i need to know would be what is the best place to get power from for the windows. I am afraid if i get it from the wrong thing i might fry my car or do something else bad, please help.

i´m just guessing, but can you get it from yer small fuse box (the one inside just by yer foot) ?
my foglights are hooked into one of the empty ones

Your fuse box should have a place already for power windows whether your car is equipped with them or not. Hook in your power line there, and don´t forget to add the proper rated fuse.

Is there an easy way to find what wires on the fuse box that are the ones that go to the power windows?

the cover of the use box "should" have all the wiring listed per fuse, and if yer car doesn´t have whatever item in it, it´ll probably have brackets around the name of whichever optional item

Well i just finished putting in my power windows and the are working just fine. I just need to figure out something to put in the hole where the nobs usetd to be. They are definatley worth the trouble to put in. Thanks to all for the help.

Trashknight what all do you need to salvage to get the power windows to work? just the wires and buttons from the doors or do you need to swap the interior of the doors from the other car? I want to put power windows in mine and only let the driver (me) control both windows
