I have leaks at the hose-to-pump fitting and at the intermediate to pump hose fitting. They both swivel and tightening doesn't help. Is there a seal or gasket in the hose end?
I would think that something attached to your drill could easily do the job as well.Thats not a bad idea... That just inspired me to come up with a different one...
Take a yard stick and drill a hole at one end... Now get a shallow socket.. Now get a longer pulley bolt... Now get a flat finder washer..
Put the longer pulley bolt and wash into the hole drilled in the yard stick, then slip the shallow socket between the yard stick and were one of the pulley bolts would go at the pump.... And just like the old steam train wheels on Petticoat Junction, the wheel will turn round and round as fast as you can spin it... Piece of cake....
