Thought that when I change radiator, I would do the power steering fluid change as well.

So how much fluid I have to buy? I'm getting quite good and expensive oil, so the accurate number would be best .

just get 3 quarts to be safe. if ur doing a flush always better to use more.

make sure u use dex/merc 3 and not type F

We have here pennzoil ATF+4 and pennzoil power steering fluid. Will they fit?

No. They have mercon from the factory. I wouldn't put anything else in it other than what it came with.

The power steering does not have Mercon from the factory. Both my wagon and my dads zx2 have stuff that smells like hydraulic oil.

In my 1998 Escort owner's manual, it says to use Mercon ATF in the power steering. There is no capacity given... It just says to "fill to the indicator line on the reservoir".

Ok changed the oil today. In went Pennzoil ATF oil (suitable for mercon).

We flushed the steering rack and put new oil in. I was quite simple if you have a carlift . About 1L oil went in.

i change recently the PS pump and i only use 1 quarter (levels ok in the deposit)

i use ATF MERCON like my manual says

I use strictly synthetic fluids in my quest to reduce friction and maximize MPG. I don't know if it helps but it feels good.
