Well, my friend that bought the Escort is getting his old integra that he "sold" to his friend back, she hasn't really paid on it so he basically repo'd it. Since he's more of a Honda nut he's thinking about keeping the Integra and selling the Escort, if that Escort is gettin sold... I AM the only one that will buy it...hell the plates and title are still in my name anyway. :p

The other side of it is he might decide to keep the Escort in which case I'm gonna buy the Integra off of him. I'm kinda hoping to get the Escort back because it was my baby for 2 years and I do miss it, however the b18a1 would be a cool engine to mess with. I have two plans going on here in my head.

Plan I:
If he keeps the Integra I'm going to buy my Escort back (since the tags and title are still in my namel anyway) I'm going to source a BPT (GTX) 1.8L turbocharged motor (180 hp 180 ft lbs torque to start with) from JDM land and with the addition of new suspension (Tokico struts and a coilover system) along with new axles and brakes, etc... I'm going to throw that into my turbo Escort along with (hopefully) a decent shifting G25m-R (93-96 Escort GT 5 sp transmission) with new shifter linkages, bushings & a B&M shifter. After all this is done I'm going to head to Corksport.com to source a PnP job, cams, gears, Then it's off to www.barend.com to source a CAI & catback exhaust. If and when the swap takes place, the whole car is getting painted WR Blue Pearl and the rust is getting fixed, because well...it's horrible.

Since the Escort will be my turbocharged car I'll keep the Si an NA monster, Skunk2 cams/gears/springs/retainers, CAI, Exhaust, coilover setup, maybe some 11:1 wiseco pistons, forged crank, etc. I haven't fully planned any of this part of Plan I out yet.

Plan II:
If he decides to keep the Escort and do what he wants with it, I'm going to try to buy the Integra off of him, it won't stay stock for long though. I'm going to find a b18c5 head and throw it on the b18a1 so I'll have a GS/VTEC setup, with an instant power gain of 130 hp to roughly 195 hp, I'm going to add to that... by saving up and sourcing some skunk2 or toda cams/gears/retainers/valves and throw them in, then the normal, CAI, Exhaust, etc. Also since I've felt that shifter, I know it's going to need to be messed with, I might try to source a 99-00 Si, 94+ GSR, or a 97, 98, 00, or 01 Type R 5 sp to keep me on the high cams during shifting.

Then when I turn my attention to the Si it'll get the normal CAI, Exhaust, shifter bushings, Coilover setup, and the not-so-normal $3500 dollar all new B series Edelbrock turbo kit. (The new D series kit yielded 176 whp on an EX)

Yeah. I bet i would, it's two years newer and I already know *almost* everything about it. Plus I'll get my dope white face gauges back. :D

when i get it back the first thing I'm a do is get the exhaust temporarily fixed so I wont have to listen to the hole anymore...lol

First I gotta save up to buy the car back...

eh. I wanna make this car turn heads, looks and power.

I love drivin by people seeing them look at my car in the Si...it's a headturner...I wanna get the Escort some respect too. :D

I'm f0 sh0 gettin the scorter back. It's developed soem rust since I sold it, and Brian has sprayed over it with some primer like mad.

There's a ton of little things I gotta do to make it really street legal and worthy again.

Need the washer nozzles and hoses replaced, need to fix the exhaust leak, need to calibrate the gauges (still off from when I put the indiglos in them) and I still need to get the suspension taken care of.

I'm basically just picking up where I left off :D
