no, not stock for stock, you're better off just fixing up the GT if you want out of the box fun. I'd reccomend you se what's up with the engine, I have a bit of ticking coming from under my hood, but I've had no problems in the past 3 years that involved the engine itself, plenty of belts, a clutch and two axles though. Keep the GT. It's a good car, it just needs to be treated right, just like any car. if your g/f can take decent care of it (i.e. she doesn't just drive it and never maintains anything) then she should be fine.
well im just thinking theres less of a chance of something happening if i gott hat car because i wont be hear to help her fix it. But I taught her everything she needs to know, change oil, air filter and that stuff
