I have a 1993 tracer 4dr. sedan, in need of a rear bumper assembly.
Anyone know if the escort bumpers will fit from any 91-96 model years?

I found a 1996 4dr. hatchback rear bumper, it has the license plate slot that mine does not but if it fits I don't care.. please help

As long as you pull the part within the same generation you should be fine. As noted, Escort and Tracer are almost identical.

I have mentioned it before, because I found it out: I think the wagon rear bumpers are slightly different from hatchback and sedan bumpers - as the body seems to be a double layer of sheet metal across below the rear "gate" of the wagon. I had to replace the original studs from a hatchback rear bumper; using ones about an inch longer - so the hatchback bumper would bolt onto the rear of my wagon,
But of course, rear bumpers for hatchbacks still show up on ebay. The differences from one year to another have to do with the paint. On the 91 & 93 Escort hatchbacks, the bumper were pained black. Starting sometime about with the 93 Escorts, I think they were painted to match the color of the bar body.
    zzyzzx and pextor like this.
