Hopefully this is on-topic here. :)

When I bought my EGT it had no tag, and no bolts to hold one on. I haven't been able to locate the proper bolts, either...

Currently, my tag is held on a bit ghetto-style: I took two nylon tag bolts and... well... coerced 8O them into holding my tag on.

I'd like to get it done right, though, so... any suggestions/information?

You could get a set of taps and try them in there until one fits, then you know the size and thread count, or try the J/Y. Or tap it to 1/4-20 and get 1/4-20 stainless bolts at the hardware store. I did that because the lot where I got my car used the wrong screws and messed up the threads anyway. I really do reccomend stainless though.

They are metric. I think 6MM. Get stainless steel ones. Lowes has metric stainles steel ones that I think are 16mm long (OEM ones were 10MM long, but that doesn't matter). I have a 1995LX, so this should work for any 1991-1996 model. I am referring to the back plate bolts, not the front!
