yeah well the wagon is caseys now and he swapped in the 1.9L so its for sale with that motor in it...runs great here are current pics...msg on aim or email me if your interested in the wagon, and the wrx is my new car...
paul had done a turbo 2.0 swap, wasnt going so well, so he was theone who piced up a gtr for 600 at a local jdm shop, that motor had problems and is now ourt of the red car , the red car got a 1.9 stock set up back so it can be sold, and th egtr is going into another wagon thats gettign some major you guys wont belive some one did body work. and the gtr is getting rebuilt, thats why it has a 1.9 again.
Paul, you can almost see the miata in the pics. and the white car is misfit, he came out last nite. really great guy. hope to see him around more.
the scort was 2660 without me in it, and without back trim, the new car is 3150 without me in it, the old car was roughly 190 to the wheels, the new car is roughly 205 to the wheels with the mods it currently has, doing an ecu reflash end of this month to get me to around 225-230 awhp, which and this car handles 100x better then my scort so much fun its unreal...
im not really sure what casey is selling it for, you would have to talk to him, if your local and a serious buyer i can give you his cell number just msg me, and the stock rex motor runs 13.5 psi, if a wrx was running 20psi they had a turbo swap and must have been in the 300awhp range which in no way can a scort keep up with that, marclar maybe u thinking the 99-00 model subies which are only like 150hp or somehting...
I can't wait till I get some time to put a 1.8L BP into my RX-7. If my wallet lets me, I'll run independent fuel management and a small turbocharger and possibly water injection... 260hp on a (gutted) car that weighs in at about 2100. Right now I've got the 12A engine that is way out of tune and maybe putting 65hp to the wheels and only gets 25mpg.
Well I bought it for the motor & put the stock (reliable) 1.9 back in. 90kmiles, mt,shaved, red paint cf invader hood,17's,rear disk conversion, lowered, new sr struts.
I will be keeping the rod millin grill, head lights, corners and tails. Stock will be included and installed. I would also like to keep the hood, but dont have the red one. I would be willing to disount if you dont want it. I have a stock one handy.
$5000 OBO Please call Casey, this post wont be watched ( I just dont have the time ) 714-478-1867
Is the 1.9 that was put back in still turbo'ed like it used to be?? If so it might be worth that. If not you will never see 5k. Nice wagon but still Adam couldn't get 7K for a mint GT hatch with a 300+hp BPT.
to be honaest wagons still sell for 3500-4000 stock, the sema to have the highest resale value of even gt here in cali. every time i go to auto trader, or pass a lot, there are escorts starting high, but theyt sema to be the most common floating around here
