sounds like a cheap alternative to a good, true LSD...... i'd like to know how good it is though..... cuz that might be sweet.... if its only fuction was to eliminate the huge torque steer i get, then it would be worth the money (as long as it didn't break like a chinese dollar store toy)

but check this out from their site:
The Phantom Grip is extremely strong and durable and comes with a Lifetime Warranty for breakage and manufacturer defects.

"Disclaimer of Warranty"---WARNING: Installation of any Phantom Grip component or kit should be performed by persons experienced in the installation and proper operation of transmission and drivetrain products. If you tighten them down enough to make a world of difference, they'll wear down the backs of the spider gears. You do get what you pay for, from what I've read.

That said, does anyone know where to get a clutch-type LSD for any escorts.. mazda or ford?

A true LSD will cost major bucks. A Quaife LSD costs THOUSANDS!!! Special half shafts must be used too. When I do my GTR swap, odds are I will be getting the Phantom Grip.
