What sort of paint should I use to paint my valve cover red???? Does anyone have pics of what a painted cover looks like??

i painted mine. i bought special high temp paint from dupont, enron or something like that.

that looks sweet did you just paint on there or did you remove the valve cover and paint the whole thing? How do you get those wierd bolts loose to get the cover off anyway?

lol, chances are he took the whole thing off, the head bolts come off with a rachet

Did you have to sand the valve cover for the 1.8l too? I was just wondering cuz the black might not be as bad as the metal on the 1.9l...
