I know some of you guys painted your valve covers, so I was just curious what did you have to do to prep the cover for painting? And what colors have you guys painted yours, I was thinking of going silver and then doing the "FORD" and "DOHC" in black. What do you think?

I had my freinds dad sand blast my second valve cover, cuz my first one didnt come out very good, my first one was ford blue, with white lettering, my second one, the one im working on now , is gonna be white with red lettering to match the pin striping
