hey everyone its been a while since i was here

anyway i am on the processof painting my car and i got some rust fixed and bondo on on fender
then i went over it after i sanded with flat black spary paint
it looks great, no runs or drips, and no blotches
however its dull and can scratch easy
anyway i was wondering if apliance paint would work great since its tought

This sounds awesome Can you post some pics? Do they make flat black appliance paint, or are you going to sand it until it gets dull?

Showing scratches is one thing that low luster paints do, its unavoidable. There is probably a flat professional automotive paint that will hold up well but you probably won't find anything that great in a rattle can.

I use regular Rustoleum that I put in my paint gun (mixed with Naphta, of course). You can use regular rustoleum thinned out with foam rollers and wetand and buff it if you want to do alarge area and have no paint gun.
