Well lately I been looking at a head for the escort. But I'm stuck between a pacestter and obx header to replace the old exhaust manifold. So I was wondering if anyone has any insight I would love to hear both sides advantages and disadvantages of both? any help would be appreciated!

I have had both. The Pacesetter 1 piece design is a nice 4-2-1 header. The only down side is the flat black finish. Not sure if they still offer the ceramic coated one or not, but I would recommend it over the black finish. The OBX is a 4-1 design, with a much nicer finish. It will change color over time, but still looks nice.

As for performance, they are about the same. I added mods before swapping the header, so a dyno run wouldn't tell me if I gained or lost any power.

Thanks dave! I heard though that some obx headers have fitment problems? Idk if this is true for escorts i heard some miata owners complain they had problems and my friend said he had one that wouldn't fit his eclipse any truth to these problems?
