Original Escort Reviews

Does anybody know where I can find the original full reviews of the 2nd gen escorts, (lx and/or gt´s)? I´d like to figure out turning circles, crash test ratings, etc. The more info I know about the car the better. If i knew then what i know now when I was buying the car I could have talked the guy down more than 100 bucks on the price. He told me that the "GT´s have bigger brakes because it has a bigger engine than the LX models." Now I know that half of that is bullshit...the GTs engine is actually SMALLER in size...Anyway, any info will be appreciated. Thanks.
