Well I did it. I ordered a GTX front clip. Now all i need is some axles, tranny and mounts from a GT and Im good to go. Ill let everyone know how it turns out. I will try and do a step by step with pictures to.

If you got the whole front clip... you already have EVERYTHING... except for a fuel pump, and possibly gauges, etc.

How many miles are on that engine?

its a JDM motor so 35 - 40k miles. I still need the axles, tranny, and mounts. I am not using the tranny that comes with it cus its AWD. I can use the stock fuel pump up to 12psi. This is what mysta316 did anyway.

I know I dont need all of the mounts. I hav ebeen talking to mysta316.. he has done a LX- GTX swap. I need the front mount and bracket and a tranny mount I believe.

I think you should convert it to RWD and use the AWD tranny with it. that'd rock

He'd need a few more parts.. like gas tank, driveshaft, rear diff, rear axles, rear spindles. If he had all of that I'm sure he'd just go AWD anyway (at least that's what I'd do). :wink:

I have never done anything like this before. I am not worried about AWD or RWD at the moment. You all dont know how happy I would be if the cars starts up and runs!
