I have a '97 Escort LX with only 60,000 miles. I had new front brake pads, rotors and rebuilt calipers installed in November. Now I notice an orange color behind the front the front wheels, which I'm concerned may be rust. I can see the discoloration looking from the side of the car through the aluminum spoke wheels. We had rain and strong winds in New Jersey recently, but the unusual color may have been there for a while and I wasn't paying attention. The brakes squeaked just a little after the repair was done, but otherwise they seem to perform OK. Should I be concerned about the brake job that was done and the parts that are now in there? If it's rust it seems like something will need to be replaced. Thanks in advance for your replies.
