Simply put, I need to get new tires soon so now would also be the ideal time to get wheels as well. I was thinking of going with 15's just because the tires will last longer than the larger sizes and I now drive alot more than I used to. I can get a really good deal on this set of rims but I'm still undecided on them.
    What do you guys think?

Which offset is best? They come in a 38 or 42MM offset and are 6.5" wide.

dunno bout the offset, but those wheels look nice on the wagon. drop the front an inch or inch and a half and it would look really sweet

If indeed you're going with 15s use the same offset as the egt uses. But those wheels do look nice on the wag.

    5 lug!

I like the 5 lug conversion on there!

They look just like the ones I just put on my red Pony and they really changed the look.

I believe they are called DM wheels seven x from Discount tires.

Yep, they are the MB Seven X. No five lug conversion though, I just photoshoped the generic picture of them onto my car to see how it would look.

Ok, the stock ZX2 wheels have 45 offset and 15x5.5 width stamped on the back. The actual width will be wider though because the published width is between the inner bead seats. They have a measured backspacing of around 5" from the flange to the lip the weight mounts on. I guess this means that I should go with the 38mm offset if I want to keep the inner clearances the same. The thing I'm worried about though is they are going to stick out an extra inch compared to what the ZX2 wheels would. This won't cause a problem will it?

Egnorant, do you have any pics of them on your car? I would love to see an actual pic rather than the ones on the website.

Update: Well, I just ordered them! 38MM offset MB Seven X wheels and 4 Yokohama Avid TRZ Tires in 185/60R15. $546 mounted, balanced, and shipped.

Click on the pic and it gets bigger..I think.

This is with 185/55-15 Bridgestone portenzas.
38mm offset and they don't stick out.
Understand that my car is dull and dirty...just finished a waterpump/timingbelt/fanbelt replacement in the Texas noon sun.
The wheels shine up and look good enough that the rest of the car looks like crap.
Notice the new front bumper...I'll post a pic or 2 with it polished up and new rear bumper.
The wheels are VERY dirty in this pic.

Not too bad. After seeing them on your car I realize that they remind me of the 7 spoke wheels that came on the Miatas, just one size bigger.

Well, I just got them installed today. I got them Monday but I had to buy some tuner lug nuts to install them. They aren't 100% what I envisioned but they are a million time better than hub caps. What do you think?

Thanks. I drove it to work today and it rides so much smoother than before. But then again, I went from H to T rated tires.

The only problem is I think the rear would rub if I lowered it. If only they had designed the car with equal fender well gaps.
