No, I am not restoring my escort, as much as I would love to, this is a warning going out to all the people from ontario, WATCH OUT, cops are busting anybody driving over or at 120km/h on the 400. Be safe!undefined

I was driving along the highways all day Monday.
I only saw 1 OPP cop.
I think this Operation Restoration thing is only a scare tactic.
Why would they broadcast it all over the radio and TV?

It is a scare tactic, but it also makes you think about it so you´re more concious of your speed. Here in Indiana we have something called "seeing double" which basically means that Indiana has tripled their drunk driving patrols. so if you see "double lights" in your rear view you´re being stopped.
What doesn´t make sense is there´s only the red and blue. not double red and blue. But I dunno. :-?
I have learned over the years 3 things about cops and speeders.1)pay attention! most cops would rather see ya hit the binders and demonstrate the ability to quickly slow your vehicle(but don´t lock em)then see you go haulin a$$ by with your head so far up your blow hole that you didn´t even see them in there three ton P.O.S. with reflective stripes down the side.Kinda pisses em off to think that your inattention may kill somebody.2)it almost seems as if it is hard for them to lock your speed when it is changing quickly and even if they do get it locked you might save yourself a few rungs on the fine ladder.3)If they do pull on the road after you hopefully you can make a quick couple of turns or hit an exit/entrance and hide.I personally try to go far, fast, and hide, then they have nothing to pull over.If I never see em hit the lights I am just still speeding.By the time they get in the car, on the freeway, and get up to 60mph they have lost ten seconds, and by the time they hit 60 I´m at 90 but it will only work for a short while hopefully within 1 mile I find an exit that I know I can hide or, completely skunk em.I once saw a cop going after me as I was going the other way on the freeway cause when I hit the exit there was nowhere to hide, so I got back on going the opposite direction.

haha.. I have used the exit ramp reverse direction technique also...it works everytime..
Unfortunately my three tickets were in the middle of town and I had no chance to do any "skunking tactics" because before i realized it the cops were right there. Besides I really don´t think it´s a good idea to try to evade the cops, because if you live in a town like mine...everyone knows everyone else...plus my dad is running for mayor. Yeah...that wouldn´t look good. lol :-]
