I'm conducting a small survey to find out where everyone lives.
The reason for this is to find a central location to everyone for the May 2004 Escort Meet in Ontario so everyone doesn't have to drive 900 miles just to goto a meet.

So, if everyone could please post the city you live in, we can better organize the first meet for next year which should be HUGE.
If you live in a small town that no one has heard of, please post the closest major city to you.

Thanx.

I pity those that now live in or work in T.O. and have to put up with Miller. That guy wants to put tolls up on the DVP and QEW leading into T.O. and it will cost the city more to cancel the bridge link to the Island airport than finish the project... Poor T.O.....

Makes me glad that I don't live or work in the city...

Yet another reason for me not to go to Toronto unless I have to. Now it'll cost me money to get pissed of with the traffic. Does he have any Idea what kind of congestion that will cause in the city?

I still hate that city, no matter who runs it.

The loss of the bridge means a loss of a job, as I work in construction. I work in Toronto, and I grew up in Metro Toronto, but like everyone else I left because I didn't want to pay higher taxes for the privelidge of getting stabbed to death. Other than that, I've never observed any difference between administrations and how they affect my work. I don't see how they could toll the DVP or the QEW coming into downtown. It would discourage the use of them, which is the whole idea, but there are NO OTHER ROADS to take into the city! The only way it would work is if everyone stayed home from work permanently(hey that's a great idea!). It's my main beef - Patently insufficient highway system. They thought they could get the Olympics? HA! They don't deserve it! The place can't even function on a daily basis let alone handle an extra million or so tourists. Commerce is CRIPPLED every single day because of it. The Allen was supposed to go right downtown and the Gardiner was supposed to go all the way through Scarberia, and even with those squashed, the never even made a decent transit system! WTH!

I live in Chatham which is app half way beteween London and Windsor.

The Cloned GT is wrapped up in blankets for the winter and will re-emerge next May.

I would love to see a meet down here in Southwestern Ontario.

Hey folks...
After reviewing the survey results gathered from across all the Escort/ZX2 message boards, it looks like we'll be having the May 2004 meet in or around the Toronto area. This decision isn't final yet by any means, but given that everyone is spread out so far apart it appears as though Toronto is the most central location to everyone.
Granted many of you live west of the Toronto region, I don't want to just axe everyone out East by holding the meet out in Hamilton or Brantford.

More details will be posted within the next few months, so sit tight and keep your eye on the message boards for new posts!

I posted up a few pics from the May2003 meet which had a great turnout despite the crappy weather we had that morning...
