Cold I am getting 45psi at idle, 60 when I bump the gas

Warmed up I am getting only 10  at idle and 25-45 driving

the oil pump was reused when I rebuilt the engine, stock one for the GTR. All the bearings on the bottom end have been replaced. Crank never needed to be turned only polished.

No leaks what so ever, running 10-30 oil same psi even after oil change.

The cylinder head has alot of miles on it well over 180K I believe, as I haven't gotten the Kia head back from the machine shop yet. Is it possible it is loosing that much oil pressure up top? Thoughts? Ideas?

My '88 with 493K miles on it still has about 70-75 PSI oil pressure when it's first started and about 20-25 PSI at idle after it comes up to temperature. On the road running 50-55 MPH it will run about 40-45 PSI. I would have gone ahead and replaced the oil pump when I rebuilt the engine.

I can still do the oil pump with the engine installed no biggie. I might just wait until I get the other head on there and see if anything changes. At this point I am not incrdibly concerned I don't think due to the fact I seem to have ok pressure when running down the road.

Dunno, But I really appreciate athe input as most people don't answer my posts except for the old timers on here, as most also don't have an oil pressure gauge.

It's been a while since I've moved my other escort, but I do recall it haveing pretty low oil pressure at idle when warmed up and never had an issue with the motor.

My GTR engine is running at about the those same numbers. Its a little concerning to me also. Im using the stock GTR pump as well.
