As you all know I purchased (almost) a Garrett T3 turbo off a Saab 900 from Roboskittle. I was thinking about it today and arguing with my partner (the old hot rodder), here's what we were thinking.

He thinks that there's an oil pump and then an oil sending unit that sends it up the oil paths to the top of the block, which is where you would tap into the sensors for an oil pressure gauge, and this is where you would put the oil line to/from the turbo.

I've been told that all you have to do is drill a hole in the oil pan and run the line to the bearings in the turbo?

I'm probably wrong, so that's my question, HOW is this set up? I want to do as much of this on my own (with your help of course).
