There are two 3/8" steel tubes attached to the passenger side of the radiator. Are these for the auto tranny cooler or are they for the engine oil? They seem to go towards the trans but they are hard to see. If it is for the engine, are there trans lines on the other side?

What he said, and it is very inefficient.
Oil cooler is part of the oil filter assembly.

Thanks guys. It seemed like a tranny cooler but when I cut a line open to bypass a leaky section, the stuff that came out was so dark that I thought it was thin oil. BTW, I got this car for $100 as the tranny slips REALLY badly.
